Preparing stl files for printing
Centering, Rotating, and Scaling STL Files
The simplest way to scale and rotate your stl file is to use ReplicatorG, a free utility.
Simply open your stl in replicatorg, use the controls provided on the right hand side to rotate, scale, center, and finally drop your object onto the virtual print bed.
When you are done, save your stl. By default it will overwrite your original stl with the new version. Do not use the built in slicing functionality of ReplicatorG, it will not work properly with the Solidoodle.
It is now ready to be sliced and turned into GCode.
